![]() I started blogging on 7th February 2015 because I thought I’d like to share my thoughts about the books I read. Apart from books I love chocolate, my husband, travel and gardening but not always in that order. I’m an aspiring writer (and by that I mean fiction – I don’t count the 18 or 19 non-fiction books with my name on!) and have 26000 words written so far. I was an English teacher, local authority adviser, an educational consultant and OfSTED inspector (but don’t tell anyone that last bit as I’ll be drummed out of the book world…). I’m self-retired (I just decided to stop working but don’t quite get my pension yet) from education. ![]() I have terrible sight which meant I was a late reader so it feels as if I’ve been trying to make up for it ever since. Well, I’m a very middle aged book lover who lives in the back of beyond in South Lincolnshire with my husband. Tell me about the person behind the blog?

The analysis should stimulate free thinking and inspire people to take a fresh look at the understanding of moral questions beyond the prevalent framework of economic and political interests in which values take shape. The book reflects on these mechanisms from the perspective of science - especially biology and psychology - and arrives at a complex arena of human behavior full of contradictions and conflicts. They exploit human psychology of fear for the unknown and the natural instincts to seek security against threats from competing groups. The main enactors in the moral arena are often the people with vested interests in economic and political power. The book analyses the history of social evolution and its impact on the perceptions of moral values across the globe. ![]() The issue of moral has become more precarious during recent social changes brought by the modern consumer culture and the global communication age. With social evolution the moral behavior also changes its character. The perceptions of moral norms differ greatly depending on the environment, economic security, knowledge and information available to the citizens and the overall state of security of life of people. Good and evil/ right and wrong have been important issues in all cultures and societies during all ages. ![]() ![]() ![]() When a series of onsite “accidents” make it clear someone wants Lady Unlucky to earn her nickname, Phillip discovers he’s willing to do anything to protect her-even if it requires a scandalous deal… Yet Eva is more capable-and more alluring-than Phillip first thought, and he cannot keep from drawing up a plan of his own to seduce her.
